Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cloud migration application modernization and infrastructure initiatives. This role involves managing cross-functional teams coordinating with vendors and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and timelines in a complex technical environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Define project scope timelines budgets resources and delivery roadmaps.
- Manage application and infrastructure migration waves including refactoring efforts.
- Track progress using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and delivery partners.
- Identify and manage technical security and architectural dependencies.
- Develop and execute risk management plans.
- Ensure security policies and best practices are integrated into project delivery.
- Support organizational change management and stakeholder communications.
- Create and maintain project documentation (charters schedules RACI testing and training plans post-implementation reviews).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Business or related field.
- 8 years of IT project management experience.
- Proven experience leading cloud migration application modernization and infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps Jira or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS architecture (EC2 S3 IAM VPC CloudFormation).
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) RBAC and least-privilege principles.
- Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
- Excellent communication organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- PMP or SAFe certification.
- Experience in government public sector or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards (e.g. NIST FedRAMP).
Special Considerations:
- Predominantly remote work with onsite meetings as needed.
