Job Summary

Job Title: Data Scientist

Job Type: Long-term Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our NEER Salesforce team to drive data-driven insights develop predictive models and support AI/ML initiatives across the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong statistical analysis skills with hands-on experience in SQL Server (2012 or similar) and modern data science tools to transform business data into actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop predictive models machine learning algorithms and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems and optimize Salesforce platform performance
Extract transform and analyze large datasets from SQL Server 2012 (or similar databases) and Salesforce to identify trends patterns and opportunities for business improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects developers and business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations
Build and maintain data pipelines ETL processes and automated reporting solutions to support ongoing analytics initiatives
Implement AI/ML models within the Salesforce ecosystem leveraging Einstein Analytics predictive scoring and recommendation engines
Develop data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI Tableau or similar tools to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
Ensure data quality governance and compliance standards are maintained throughout all analytical processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Data Science Mathematics or related field; Masters degree preferred
5 years of experience in data science analytics or related roles
Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2012 (or similar RDBMS such as Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL) with expertise in complex query writing stored procedures and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with Python R or similar statistical programming languages
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms statistical modeling and data mining techniques
Experience with Salesforce platform and Einstein Analytics is a plus
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud)
Familiarity with data engineering tools and ETL frameworks
Experience with generative AI and large language models
Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
