Job Description

Purpose:
To clarify the role and responsibilities of the site Electrical Supervisor.

Electrical Supervisors Role and Responsibilities

Understand all drawings contract documents and quality documentation
Work collaboratively in a TEAM environment
Verify that all drawings submittals and specifications are accurate
Understanding of SCADA and fiber optics
Understanding of electrical and fiber testing including IE TTR VLF ODTR Fall of Potential VOCs etc.
Work collaboratively with the EPC sub-contractors operations teams and any others working on site
Report daily weekly and monthly on progress quality control and safety
Learn and use Unifier to record name and upload electrical installation QC photographs
Facilitate the Request for Information (RFI) process with the EPC and site engineering
Perform inspections of equipment being installed to verify it is done correctly and per the scope of work and specifications
Review project completion documentation
Interface with the projects designated safety engineering and quality control parties
Help facilitate field commissioning and turnover
Create good relationships with the EPC and others on site
Ensure that safety is the number one priority on all sites
Understand and follow all company rules and policies
