Duration: 3-4 Months
To implement monitor and enforce Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies on the Oil & Gas project site ensuring full compliance with client requirements company standards and local statutory regulations.
Implement project-specific HSE Plan procedures and safe work practices.
Conduct daily site safety inspections audits and toolbox talks.
Monitor high-risk activities such as:
Hot work
Confined space entry
Working at height
Lifting operations
Excavation and trenching
Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Investigate accidents incidents near misses and unsafe acts; prepare reports and corrective actions.
Maintain safety statistics records and reports.
Monitor environmental controls related to:
Waste management
Spill prevention and response
Noise dust and emissions
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project EMP requirements.
Conduct HSE inductions for new employees and subcontractors.
Deliver safety training and awareness programs.
Promote a strong safety culture on site.
Ensure compliance with:
Client HSE requirements
Company HSE policies
Local authority and statutory regulations
Coordinate with supervisors engineers and subcontractors on HSE matters.
Support internal and external HSE audits.
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science or related field.
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA (Mandatory or Preferred)
First Aid & Fire Fighting certification (Advantage)
Minimum 3–7 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects.
Experience working on live construction or shutdown projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas HSE standards and international best practices.
Familiar with PTW JSA Risk Assessment HAZID/HAZOP concepts.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to enforce safety rules firmly and professionally.
Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
