FTE:1.0Status:Temporary until June 2027About the RoleThe Program Supervisor provides day-to-day hands-on support to an interprofessional team. The Program Supervisor provides clinical and service delivery support staff oversight including program area orientation day-to-day operational management and participates in performance management. They lead staff development and training advise and implement program development as well as evaluation and quality improvement.The Program Supervisor will: - Support program staff to utilize a holistic and high-quality model of assessment and treatment planning that is family-centered trauma-informed and inclusive of biological psychological social and cultural factors for the patients and their family.
- Oversee the program referral intake and admission processes based on program inclusion/exclusion criteria and present exceptional case referrals to Program Manager for final approval.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching role modeling and direction to program area staff.
- Review and complete patient safety event forms.
- Lead program staff debriefs following safety events.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities- Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in all aspects of the discipline including clinical practice supervision and education.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new or unexpected situations flexibility in approach to interpersonal situations.
- Ability to monitor clinical practice standards and relevant acts and legislation.
Qualifications and Experience - Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant health discipline (e.g. psychology social work occupational therapy nursing etc.) from an accredited institution is required.
- Must be registered with the appropriate regulatory body for the healthdiscipline in some situations a national registration may be acceptable.
- A minimum of five years clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions.
- Demonstrated clinical supervision experience particularly in settings focusing on specific populations such as children and adolescents.
Conditions of Employment- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
- Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA) or Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) training as well asphysical ability to perform all interventions.
Working Conditions- Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel between CASA sites as required.
- Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
