Job Overview:
IIQAF Group is hiring a skilled and licensed Electrician (Hospitality) to support electrical installation maintenance and repair operations across hospitality properties including hotels resorts restaurants and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial and hospitality electrical systems ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with Canadian electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install maintain inspect and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform electrical work in hotels resorts restaurants and hospitality facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults wiring issues and power failures
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Coordinate with facility management and maintenance teams
- Respond to emergency electrical issues as required
- Follow workplace health safety and hospitality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Electrician Maintenance Electrician or Commercial Electrician
- Experience working in the hospitality or commercial sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems wiring panels and controls
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently
- Familiarity with Canadian electrical safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Seal Electrician certification or provincial electrician license
- Experience in hotel or resort maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and building automation
- Flexibility to work shifts weekends or on-call schedules
