Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions.
Conduct mental health assessments and make appropriate referrals.
Perform physical examinations and administer immunisations.
Prescribe medications and refer patients to specialist services as required.
Build strong therapeutic relationships and deliver high-quality patient care.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and intensive day programs tailored specifically for women.
Deliver compassionate women-focused care within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Support a 1014 day inpatient program complemented by an intensive community-based day program offering personalised evidence-based care.
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to apply.
Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Demonstrated expertise in the assessment diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.
Experience in admitting and managing inpatients.
Applicants holding MRCPsych (UK) with CCT/CCST may be eligible for an accelerated pathway.
