Job Summary

BeMore Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire positions at apartment communities throughout the area. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in apartment maintenance construction plumbing electrical work and general repairs. Candidates with HVAC experience and/or EPA certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks including basic electrical plumbing appliance repairs carpentry masonry and painting
Repair and maintain building structures such as showers sinks appliances doors cabinets walls and exterior areas
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients residents and team members
Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
Prepare units for new move-ins ensuring all community standards are met
Complete annual preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled
Assist with grounds maintenance as needed
Support special projects as assigned by management

Requirements

HVAC certification preferred but not required (EPA certification is a plus)
Minimum of 6 months of maintenance experience in an apartment community or similar environment
Working knowledge of HVAC systems including the ability to maintain repair or replace systems (preferred)
Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation required
Ability to pass a background check
Possess basic hand tools necessary to perform daily maintenance tasks
Reliable self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
