Peacock Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 30 hours per week. Our surgery works over 2 sitesStansted and Elsenham but this role will predominantly be based at our Elsenham branch.
Our nursing team consists of 4 practice nurses 2 nursing associates 2 healthcare assistants and 3 phlebotomists.
The main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Chronic disease management
- Childhood and adult immunisations
- Cervical cytology
- Wound care (e.g. leg ulcers and compression)
- Health promotion and patient education
- Treatment room duties
- Support with QOF and clinical audits
All applicants should have the following qualifications registrations skills and experience:
- A qualified and registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
- Experience in primary care
- Confident working autonomously while contributing to a wider team
- Organised approachable and patient-focused
- Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and professional development
Peacock Surgery works over 2 sites - Stansted and Elsenham and has a supportive and welcoming team. We have a CQC Good rating.
