We are looking for aResearch Fellow to support the research for the project titled Self-Healing Ductile Cementitious Composites for Durable and Resilient Coastal Protection Infrastructure. The role will focus on carrying out research according to the proposed milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow (RF) will work on a project to conduct the research on development of Self-Healing Ductile Cementitious Composites for Durable and Resilient Coastal Protection Infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Engineering Material Science or Chemistry or related field
Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
Strong references from previous supervisors
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis concrete sample preparation mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD TGA FTIR and SEM-EDX).
Competent in carbon sequestration in cement-based material would be preferable but not required.
