DescriptionExamines and provides remedial services for patients with speech and hearing disorders. Performs research related speech and language problems.
Responsibilities- Performs comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations
- Conducts hearing aid evaluations (including bone-anchored devices) fittings follow-up hearing aid care
- Verifies and validates fit of amplification devices using real-ear measures and other appropriate testing measures
- Provides counseling to patients and their families
- Records and maintains up to date reports of all patient interactions and visits
- Monitors inventory and initiates replacement orders to maintain operating supply level; ensures supplies are properly stored
- Participates in research conferences and meetings
- Performs related duties as required
Qualifications- Masters degree in Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical competence in Audiology issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association
- 3 years experience in Audiology
