Position Role: Responsible for tri-service liaison with civil authorities emergency services and other agencies on all aspects of UK Ops. Responsibilities: 1. Advise on the MODs capabilities constraints and structures for responding to requests for military assistance are widely understood by Civil Authorities through close strategic relationships. 2. The JRLO will exercise a co-ordinating role for UK Ops liaison planning training and operational delivery to provide the optimum level of MOD support to & with Civil Authorities. 3. Joint Regional Liaison Officers are held at 6hrs NTM in the planning and execution of Resilience and Security Operations within the UK. 4. When directed act as the primary Defence representative at the most appropriate location to enable delivery of Defence effect with the Civil Authorities. 5. Identify & support mitigation for strategic risk at all levels of planning and integrated delivery between Defence Joint Military Command and external stakeholders. 6. Support production of Contingency Plans SOIs and lead training delivery for UK Resilience and Security Ops for the Joint Military Command. 7. Maintain an understanding of the national and regional resilience and security landscape including future operating environment for Enhanced and Homeland Resilience. 8. Co-ordinate and Line Manage liaison activities and duties of UK Ops staff. |
