Job Summary
Job Description:
- Develop installation layouts and detailed drawings Utilities Maintenance Trucks ensuring compatibility with aerial units and chassis
- Create installation-specific 3D models using SolidWorks focusing on accurate fitment and assembly.
- Perform stability and weight distribution analysis for components prior to installation.
- Conduct limited structural FEA on new installation components to validate strength and safety
- Prepare installation documentation (assembly instructions torque specs alignment guides).
- Support on-site installation activities ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications.
- Participate in Pre-Release and CDR meetings to ensure installation considerations are integrated early.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to resolve installation challenges.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks Configuration Management working with neutral format files received from vendors and basic FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems integration and installation best practices.
- Good English communication and presentation skills for technical discussions and customer interactions.
