Are you an experienced employment solicitor ready to step into a senior role with a leading ambitious law firm

Our client is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor (5 years PQE) to join their Cambridge team advising a diverse client base across financial services tech education insurance transport and non-profitsincluding international businesses and senior executives. This is your opportunity to work on complex high-value employment matters and take a visible leadership role in a firm committed to your growth.

The Role: Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on wide-ranging employment law matters including:

    • General employment issues (maternity rights contractual matters)

    • Drafting service agreements employment contracts staff handbooks and policies

    • Handling performance sickness and misconduct procedures; parental leave schemes

    • Transactional corporate support

    • Wrongful and unfair dismissal redundancy restructuring TUPE

    • Senior executive arrivals/exits and complex remuneration

    • Employment tribunal litigation and discrimination claims

    • Advising on offshore/overseas placements

  • Work with clients across sectors: financial services insurance tech education transport non-profits and international businesses

  • Engage in business development and leadership: mentor junior team members support firm growth and contribute to practice development

Requirements & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5 years PQE in employment law

  • Proven expertise handling complex employment cases and advising senior executives

  • Strong technical skills in contract drafting policy development and litigation

  • Commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to deliver practical business-focused advice

  • Leadership and mentoring experience valued

  • Excellent communication client management and business development skills

  • Experience with international clients or cross-border matters is advantageous
