Employment Law Senior Associate Solicitor

Are you an experienced employment solicitor ready to step into a senior role with a leading ambitious law firm
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor (5 years PQE) to join their Cambridge team advising a diverse client base across financial services tech education insurance transport and non-profitsincluding international businesses and senior executives. This is your opportunity to work on complex high-value employment matters and take a visible leadership role in a firm committed to your growth.
The Role: Key Responsibilities
Advise on wide-ranging employment law matters including:
General employment issues (maternity rights contractual matters)
Drafting service agreements employment contracts staff handbooks and policies
Handling performance sickness and misconduct procedures; parental leave schemes
Transactional corporate support
Wrongful and unfair dismissal redundancy restructuring TUPE
Senior executive arrivals/exits and complex remuneration
Employment tribunal litigation and discrimination claims
Advising on offshore/overseas placements
Work with clients across sectors: financial services insurance tech education transport non-profits and international businesses
Engage in business development and leadership: mentor junior team members support firm growth and contribute to practice development
Requirements & Experience
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5 years PQE in employment law
Proven expertise handling complex employment cases and advising senior executives
Strong technical skills in contract drafting policy development and litigation
Commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to deliver practical business-focused advice
Leadership and mentoring experience valued
Excellent communication client management and business development skills
Experience with international clients or cross-border matters is advantageous
