AECOM is seeking a motivated Document Controls Specialist with a strong interest in Transportation Engineering to join our team in Piscataway New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the planning design and delivery of roadway highway and transit-related initiatives across the region.
We take on the most complex challenges and pioneer innovative iconic solutions that push the limits of whats possible the worlds longest cable-stayed bridge record-breaking sports events the largest greenfield port development megaproject life-sustaining and disaster recovery programs and the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere.
On projects spanning transportation buildings water governments energy and the environment we deliver professional services throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Tracks and keeps records of documents.
- Follows standardized procedures but may have to use discretion to complete project.
- Ensures document tracking and production system is maintained.
- Prepares and maintains a document control system for all forms of documentation.
- Makes copies of drawing for production and other company employees.
- Assures that all completed documents have been signed-off by the appropriate personnel.
- Distributes copies of documents to the appropriate personnel.
- Implements and follows company quality assurance program procedures.
- Manages activities involved in records management/document control and directs the overall document control activities of an office or department.
- Develops Company policies and procedures.
- Assigns and reviews office activities circumvents and resolves problem areas coordinates administrative workload leveling requirements coordinates and performs project personnel administration activities coordinates administrative functions and interfaces with clients vendors and the public.
- Reviews and manages office invoices and budget.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering plus four years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
