2nd Shift Paint Technician

Spacesaver is currently recruiting for Paint Line Tech on 2nd Shift.

This position is Full Time with a wage range starting at $21.50/hr. Plus $3.00 shift premium for 2nd shift!

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform pre-treatment including testing and maintenance of chemicals.
• Powder paint (manually/automated) surfaces parts and products per work instructions and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Demonstrates strong leadership mentors others and makes solid decisions.

Schedule:

• 4 ten-hour days Monday through Thursday 2PM - 12AM
• Mandatory OT on Fridays
• Mandatory OT every other Saturday as needed

• Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes.

Required Skills

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of experience or a technical degree and 1 year of experience. Powder Coat paintknowledge is a plus. The ability to readto read tape measures and efficiently operate all other required measuring devices is also required. Candidates best suited for this role will have a proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team ability to read write speak and understand English is required for safety purposes.
