Bosch offers an exceptional Rotational Development Program (RDP) tailored for Bachelors and/or Masters graduates. This 24-month entry-level rotational program is designed to provide professional and leadership opportunities within the Power Solutions (PS) division. The RDP consists of four customized rotations allowing you to gain extensive experience working with diverse teams and environments. Additionally you will be paired with an executive mentor for professional coaching and career guidance as well as a peer mentor to help you navigate the program. You will also have the chance to participate in structured networking events and targeted training to enhance your leadership exposure.
The RDP Trainee Development Engineer will work in customer projects to adapt or develop new products that meet performance quality safety and market requirements. The role also includes supporting customers with current series production such as fault analysis problem solving and reporting. This role will entail working in cross functional and international teams with project managers testing technicians and other development engineers.
The candidate will be expected to handle a variety of development and testing related tasks/projects in our team-oriented environment. A solid engineering background passion to learn new skills and desire to work hands-on with testing equipment are required to perform well in this role. The candidate should demonstrate self-initiative and utilize technical expertise to improve quality and delivery for products and processes assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate various testing and analysis devices such as hydraulic testing benches for diesel and gasoline injectors microscopes electron microscopes measurement devices.
- Diagnose problems write and make program modifications on said devices.
- Perform test equipment modifications and installations to support department product testing.
- Support customer 0-mileage field sample return and special investigations to determine root cause of failures.
- Conduct teardown analysis and perform detailed visual inspections on CR products and components.
- Document findings summarize data create investigation and test reports.
- Present findings to project teams and external customers.
- Deliver reports and documents in a timely fashion to resolve investigated issues.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree (BS) in Mechanical Mechatronics or a similar discipline
- Demonstrated excellent writing communication and personal interaction skills
- Ability to work in a high stress environment with competing cross functional teams and obtain results
- Must be able to relocate within US and/or internationally during the rotational program and final placement
- Experience and interest in utilizing generative AI (GenAI) in daily work
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSc in a role related field
- Foreign language preferably German
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python etc.) or automation frameworks (MS Power Automate)
