Job Summary
- Analyze interpret negotiate acquire and prepare:
- Oil and Gas Leases
- Farmin/Farmout Agreements
- Joint Venture Agreements
- Joint Operating Agreements
- Participation Agreements
- Exploration Agreements
- Examine and cure requirements set forth in drilling and division order title opinions
- Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and associated expenditures
- Landman with 7 years of in-house oil and gas industry experience preferably including work in the Appalachia Basin
- Experience in drafting a wide range of agreements including Operating Agreements (O/A) Farmin (F/I) and Farmout (F/O) Agreements
- Proven ability to supervise brokers acquire leases and cure title issues
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment
- Bachelors degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
