We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Facilities Tech I to join our facilities team. As a Facilities Tech I you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the living environment for our residents. The position hours will be Monday through Friday 7:00 AM3:30 PM with some on-call hours.
This position performs repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems. Maintains grounds performing seasonal responsibilities as directed. Possesses a specific skill set/experience that provides a broader area of expertise (i.e. carpentry grounds mechanical painting team leader etc.).

Job Description:

Knowledge and Abilities:
- General working knowledge of electrical mechanical and plumbing systems and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending instructions short correspondence memos and instruction manuals.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Strong communication skills with individuals of all ages particularly seniors.
- A valid NH drivers license and a clean driving record are required.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of related experience are required.
- Graduate of a technical school with a minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.
- Must possess general working knowledge of electrical mechanical and plumbing systems and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions short correspondence memos and instruction manuals.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- A valid NH drivers license and a clean driving record are essential.
