We are searching for a talented candidate for Gastroenterology - Inpatient & Outpatient.

Hours:40 hours 8A 5P

Shift: Days On Call rotation (weeknights weekends and holiday)

Location: Fairhaven MA St. Lukes Charlton memorial & Tobey Hospitals

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

• Position reports to the Physician Office Manager or designee.
• Conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
• Perform initial histories physical examinations consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing radiology testing and/or immunizations.
• Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/ timely treatment plans.

• Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required.
• Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
• Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• One year experience required.
• Current Massachusetts Nursing Practitioners License or Physician Assistant License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
