Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for different European financial reporting and analysis. The financial analyst will be based in Cluj-Napoca and will report to the European Controller.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Involved in the monthly preparation and follow-up of the financial reporting of the European Ridge entities in accordance with US GAAP and Emersons principles.
- Responsible for various monthly or quarterly reporting (internal and external) related to the financial or operational performance or statutory compliance.
- Responsible for the preparation and follow-up of the SG&A budget of the European distribution center
- Responsible for standard costing and transfer pricing setup of and between the European entities in compliance with Transfer Pricing policies or regulations
- Analysis and calculation of the year-end customers bonuses & MDF accruals
- Support ad hoc financial analysis & data requests from Emerson or internal management team
- Be the Finance voice within participation at cross departmental projects or Finance projects to improve processes or reporting flow.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial role in an international environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of excel
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage
- Team player
- Proactive attitude
Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
