Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical (HVAC) Technician to support mechanical and HVAC services at a nationally significant heritage-listed precinct in Canberra along with associated storage facilities nearby.
This role is the on-site point of coordination for mechanical and HVAC activities combining hands-on technical work with guidance and support for a junior technician. Working closely with BGIS colleagues specialist contractors and site stakeholders you will help ensure services are delivered safely efficiently and with care for the operational and heritage sensitivities of the environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys sharing knowledge takes a considered approach to technical work and values contributing to places of cultural importance - including access to areas not always visible to the public.
