We are seeking a skilled Program Specialist (Program Specialist- AI Project Manager) tojoin GenAI Deployment and Support -Caterpillar IT Team.

The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering software development projects using Agile methodologies. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring projects are completed on time within scope and budget. The Agile Project Manager will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Whitefield PSN Office Karnataka -India

What you will do

• Plan execute and oversee Agile projects from inception to completion.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners to define project scope goals and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines resources and budgets adjusting plans as necessary to meet project objectives.
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate project status progress and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement promoting best practices in Agile methodologies.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
• Track and report on key metrics such as velocity burn-down and burn-up charts.
• Ensure quality standards are met through effective collaboration with QA and development teams.

What you will have

• 4 years bachelors degree in computer science Business or related field.
• 8-9 years of Relevant years of Experience with a overall years of exp of 12 years is preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Agile projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.).
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello Asana Microsoft Project).
• Experience with Agile planning and estimation techniques.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
• Shift Time: 01:00-10:00PM IST

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in coaching teams in Agile best practices.
• Familiarity with change management principles.
• Knowledge of software engineering and development practices.
• Good to have: Experience with Generative AI or AI-related projects.
