Set across 600 acres of stunning Cotswold countryside Farncombe Estate is home to three award-winning hotels Dormy House The Fish and Foxhill Manor along with woodland trails lakes cabins hillside hideaways and beautifully maintained grounds.
Were looking for a hands-on hardworking and enthusiastic Estate Worker to help keep our entire estate running smoothly. This role is varied practical and perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors solving problems and taking pride in a job well done.
As part of our friendly Estate Maintenance Team youll support the upkeep of all three hotels and the wider grounds from guest areas and pathways to buildings cabins signage and estate infrastructure. No two days are ever the same and your work will have a direct impact on the guest experience across the whole estate.
Day to day youll be:
Carrying out general maintenance and handyperson tasks across the estate
Supporting both preventative and reactive maintenance for all three hotels and shared areas
Helping ensure our buildings pathways cabins and grounds are maintained to exceptional standards
Working closely with estate teams hotel teams and the wider maintenance department
Keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do

ABOUT YOU:
Comfortable with general maintenance and practical problem-solving
Organised efficient and able to manage your workload
Safety-conscious with strong awareness of Health & Safety (Nebosh/IOSH is a bonus!)
A true team player who enjoys helping others
Proud of delivering high standards and doing things properly
The details:
Full-time 40 hours per week
8am5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Mainly weekdays with 1 weekend in 4 for occasional cover
27040 per annum service charge (approx. per year)
