Subaru Automotive Technician/Express Service Technician
Job Summary:
Bay Ridge Subaru is looking for an experienced and talented Automotive Technician to become part of our team. The position will involve performing maintenance and repairs of Subaru and other vehicles. We are looking for an individual who is motivated reliable and knowledgeable about the latest automotive technology and equipment.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full time position in the Auto industry that pays a competitive salary of $35000 to $100000 per addition to a competitive salary Bay Ridge Subaru also offers full benefits package including health dental vision and a 401(k).
Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles according to the industrys best practices to identify necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose malfunctions including electrical and mechanical components using testing equipment as required.
Repair and replace automotive parts and components as required.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles including oil changes brakes tires and other services as needed.
Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Test-drive vehicles to confirm satisfactory repair completion in compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements:
Experience as an Automotive Technician preferably on Subaru vehicles but will train the right individual.
Must possess basic automotive hand tools and proficiency in the use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Working knowledge and familiarity of automotive systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime if requested.
