Job Summary

Derivatives Clearing Sales VP/ED

Morgan Stanleys industry-leading Derivatives Clearing team manages the clearing of Futures Options and Over-the-Counter (OTC) Swaps at Clearing Houses Sales team is responsible for selling the Cleared Derivatives product set to the largest Asset Managers Hedge Funds Banks Insurers Corporates and Financial Institutions across the Americas. As a salesperson prior sales experience in derivatives clearing is highly this role you will be responsible for originating new clearing mandates identify strategic targets and managing relationships with some of the firms top clients. This role requires a strategic self-starter that can meet client demands in a fast-paced environment.

Derivatives Clearing services are utilized by a variety of institutional client types leveraging both speculative and hedging strategies across a wide range of asset classes - including equities fixed income FX and commodities. Our team works directly with clients to ensure an optimal client experience and product offering providing clients with access to the markets and information necessary to further enhance their portfolios. The qualified candidate will be working closely with a team of professionals in the business unit as an origination salesperson.

Principal Duties:

Identify and prospect new client relationships and optimize existing clearing footprint

Partner across multi-asset sales and trading desks to identify and optimize revenue

Drive strategic initiatives to improve the business with focus on global consistency

Serve as a product expert in Futures Cleared Swaps and Listed Options in client meetings

Maintain a strong client focus derivatives clearing industry expertise and client sector expertise

Education / Experience:

Prior clearing sales or institutional banking experience preferred

Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and present updates to senior stakeholders

Quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong team-player and collaborator enthusiastic motivated

Ability to work autonomously; self-starter

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200000 and $300000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
