Laboratory Engineer to Atlas Antibodies

About the Role
We are now looking for a Laboratory Engineer with experience in protein purification to join Atlas Antibodies Production this role you will be a key player in the production of Antigen as well as other products such as Antibodies kits or custom products ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery to researchers around the globe. The position combines hands-on lab work with continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. You will report to the Production Manager and have a direct impact on both daily operations and long-term development.

Your future work tasks
You will work according to established procedures and quality standards while proactively identifying areas for improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring high-quality production results are delivered on time with thorough documentation and reporting of any deviations

• Leading process development and proof-of-concept initiatives including technology transfer from R&D

• Driving innovation by developing lab methods and optimizing key processes and instruments

• Representing production in cross-functional projects and collaborating closely with other departments

We are looking for someone with

• A Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Cell and Molecular Biology Biomedicine) or a Bachelors degree with at least two years of relevant work experience

• 12 years of hands-on experience in recombinant protein expression and purification

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English

If you also have experience with protein production in E. Coli and/or familiarity with ÄKTA systems we consider this a strong advantage.
