We are working with a highly regarded Independent secondary school in the Norwich area that is seeking an innovative and skilled Teacher of Design Technology to join their forward-thinking department from January. This is a full-time permanent role offering the opportunity to teach in a well-resourced environment with small class sizes and highly engaged students.
You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and subject specialism. The department places strong emphasis on practical skill development design thinking and problem-solving allowing students to engage deeply with the design process from concept to manufacture.
You will be involved in curriculum planning assessment and enrichment including design projects exhibitions and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Specialisms such as Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering or CAD/CAM would be particularly welcomed though flexibility is valued.
