We are working with a high-performing Outstanding secondary school in the Ipswich area that is looking to appoint a committed and creative Art Teacher from January. This is a full-time permanent position within a well-established department where creativity is encouraged and properly resourced.
The successful candidate will teach Art across KS3 and KS4 supporting students to develop both technical competence and individual artistic identity. The department has a strong focus on skill progression analytical thinking and confidence in visual communication resulting in consistently strong student outcomes.
You will play an active role in curriculum development assessment and enrichment including exhibitions and whole-school creative initiatives. Experience with KS5 Art is advantageous but not a requirement.
