WorkShop is currently seeking a Key Account Manager for Samsungs B2C MX division in Zealand Denmark. As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for developing Samsungs business within the Retail and Operator channels (B2C) in Denmark. Your portfolio includes smartphones tablets PCs wearables and accessories. You will work closely with a team of five other KAMs as well as cross-functional stakeholders within sales and marketing.

No two days are the same. You will operate both strategically and operationally using a data-driven approach to create sustainable and profitable growth together with our partners.

The position is based at Samsungs office in Ballerup Denmark where around 72 colleagues work across sales marketing supply chain IT and local management.

Purpose of the role:

To act as a trusted advisor to key customers and through data-driven insights identify and realize opportunities that drive sustainable and shared growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key B2C customers within the MX DK business

  • Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations

  • Drive business growth measured by NBI and internal market share

  • Analyze business performance and translate insights into strong commercial actions

  • Lead quarterly planning as well as day-to-day execution

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with major retail and/or operator chains

  • Own sell-in sell-out and optimal channel stock levels

  • Forecasting and close collaboration with Supply Chain Management

  • Drive internal and external sell-in and execution of commercial plans together with designated CMLs

  • Measure campaign effectiveness versus forecast accrual and IHS

  • Prepare and present business reviews with strong storytelling and presentation skills

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis (pricing assortment specifications etc.)

  • Plan and execute promotional activities together with customers

  • Organize and participate in relevant trade fairs and events

Required qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a relevant sales role

  • Experience from FMCG and/or pure-play is an advantage but not a requirement

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical and structured approach

  • High level of drive resilience and team spirit

  • Interest in technology and technical solutions

  • Solid understanding of ROI and total customer investment

  • Team player who actively contributes beyond own area of responsibility

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Strong market knowledge within retail and/or telecom

  • Proven experience in sales business generation budgeting and forecasting

  • Fluency in English and Danish both written and spoken

Employment details:

Work hours: Full-time position with a 3-months probationary period

Work location: Ballerup Denmark (expect 3 days a week in the office)
