Job Summary
Gilytics provides a 3D web-GIS application for automated routing and design of energy telecommunication and transport infrastructure (power lines pipelines roads analytics data visualization etc.) .
Our ambition is to become the standard solution for automated design of telecommunication energy and transportation infrastructure and to make the planning process more transparent digital and democratic!
To support our growth and increasing compliance requirements we are looking for a hands-on IT Security Administrator who will take ownership of cybersecurity cloud operations and internal IT compliance across the company
Tasks
- Own end-to-end IT security and compliance across the organization.
- Build maintain secure and monitor corporate endpoints ensuring secure configuration availability and compliance.
- Lead system administration in a Microsoft 365 environment including IAM SSO MFA endpoint security and user lifecycle management.
- Act as the technical owner of the Microsoft 365 environment ensuring M365 services align with company security policies.
- Define implement and enforce IT security policies standards and best practices.
- Manage IT hardware software and SaaS tools including procurement inventory and license compliance.
- Handle installation configuration and secure disposal of user devices in line with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Provide internal IT support to corporate end users (remote-first environment).
- Implement security monitoring logging risk and vulnerability management and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security-by-design into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactively identify risks and implement pragmatic startup-friendly mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in IT security system administration cloud operations or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows devices and Microsoft 365 including Entra ID Intune Defender Purview and SharePoint.
- Solid security and analytical mindset.
- Experience with ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Experience with Linux system administration and cloud servers is a plus.
- Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell Bash or Python) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals such as access control encryption vulnerability management and incident response.
- Experience managing IT hardware endpoints SaaS tools and licenses.
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into clear practical processes.
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a distributed team.
- Strong communication skills in English and a hands-on mindset suited to a fast-growing startup.
