We are seeking a strong Gas Credit Analyst II with hands-on experience in gas marketing and natural gas trading operations. Exposure to the ICE trading platform is highly preferred as traders use it daily for trade execution and limit management. Familiarity with industry tools such as Paragon Endure Experion S&P IQ and Moodys is important. Strong Power BI skills will make a candidate stand out. The ideal candidate understands the natural gas market supports trading operations effectively and is flexible with work schedules including approved overtime when required.
Job Summary
The Gas Credit Analyst II is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the credit department including counterparty setup credit exposure monitoring contract reviews reporting and special projects. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles. The position also involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and may include mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze credit terms within counterparty agreements and provide recommendations
Set up new counterparties and manage credit limits
Issue letters of credit and guarantees in accordance with company guidelines
Monitor and manage counterparty credit exposure
Support gas marketing and trading operations including trade limit workflows
Resolve complex credit issues within established company policies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external counterparties
Prepare and deliver credit activity reports (daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual)
Mentor and support junior team members as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
Required:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting or finance environment
Preferred:
5 years of oil and gas industry experience in accounting or finance
Strong background in gas marketing and natural gas trading operations

Additional Information
Some travel required (approximately 2 times per year to Tulsa)
For infrastructure-related training travel to Tulsa may be required
