In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional obstetric and gynecological care while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of matching skilled medical professionals with facilities that require their talents.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform necessary procedures and interventions as required
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license to practice in the state of employment
- Associate level experience in Ob/Gyn
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts 7a-7a
Callback Volume: Less than 5 per shift
Delivery Volume: 400 per year
Duties: Deliveries consults inpatient rounding emergent surgeries etc.
Must be willing to manage complications from elective abortions
Support Staff: 5 OBs 6 APPs MFMs CNMs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
