Job Summary:


Responsible for managing the overall operations of the following areas: Financial Reporting and Analysis Purchasing and Fleet management. Job includes the administration of the ERP preparation and distribution of financial statements and related data provide financial analysis prepare annual budgets and ad-hoc financial modeling assists with the monitoring of general and subsidiary ledgers reviewing state and federal regulations and other responsibilities and duties as required. Works directly with the CFO Finance team and Managers to render assistance in matters under the purview of the scope of areas of supervision.


Responsibilities:

1. Works closely with the CFO and Finance team to develop and drive finance team leadership and collaboration.

2. Responsible of driving finance team efficiency accuracy and reliability.

3. Responsible for the administration of ERP/financial information systems upgrades and maintenance.

4. Prepare month-end and year-to-date statistical KPIs and productivity reports and data and provide to the CFO medical staff Directors. Works independently and with Finance teams and medical staff to identify research and review new or changing needs and data.

5. Responsible for conducting ad-hoc cost/benefit analysis in conjunction with the CFO Finance team and managers.

6. Responsible for the Purchasing team and ancillary areas such as courier services and fleet management

7. Rsponsible for the planning financial information systems integration with medical office and billing office information systems.

8. Participate in development and review of financial policies and procedures.

9. Maintain professional certifications and credentials and membership in appropriate professional organizations.

10. Conduct performance reviews for subordinate staff.

11. Promotes effective working relationships within the finance team to enhance productivity and accuracy.

12. Promotes cross training and professional development of all finance team staff.

13. Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinics ability to meet its goals and objectives.

14. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames as part of the Clinics overall mission.

Requirements

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree with emphasis on accounting or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Three years of management of a multidisciplinary team
  • Five to seven years accounting experience experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems NetSuite Oracle Hyperion (NSPB) experience a plus.
  • Grants experience a plus.
  • NetSuite/Oracle or HFMA or MGMA preferred.
