Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to lead nursing operations within an acute care behavioral health unit at a modern healthcare facility in Loudoun County Virginia. This leadership role offers a rare opportunity to maintain a consistent weekday schedule while making a meaningful impact on patient care and team development.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for the Behavioral Health nursing unit ensuring safe high-quality patient care
Lead mentor and support Charge Nurses House Supervisors and nursing staff
Oversee staffing patient flow and resource utilization to maintain unit efficiency
Promote a collaborative patient-centered culture aligned with organizational values
Ensure compliance with clinical standards policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Nurse Manager Supervisor or Clinical Team Lead role
- Experience must be within a Behavioral Health unit in an acute care setting
Licensure/Certifications:
- BCLS required within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) required within 30 days of hire
