Job Summary
MISSION :
The Java developer is responsible for application development modification and enhancement including participation in the entire system development life cycle from collecting user requirements system development testing and maintenance. Developer will work with Hong Kong development team to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
Tasks to be performed:
- Receive and complete the user requirements
- Java JavaScript PL/SQL programming
- Work on projects or modules of projects
- Application development maintenance and support
- Work on COFITIL tickets
Coface Systems/ Tools to be used:
- LCS
- Group Applications
- COFITIL
Technical Competencies & Personal Traits:
- Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred
- Requires analytical conceptual and problem-solving abilities
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Fluency in J2EE JavaScript HTML CSS Struts 2/Spring framework Hibernate JQuery Tomcat
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL and Database Management
- Familiar with Linux development environment
- Familiarity with modern software practices including version control bug tracking design patterns refactoring and risk analysis

Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- At least 7 years experience on Java Development including: Java language programming experience
- PL/SQL programming experience
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL and Database Management
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- International exposure (previously worked with international teams/clients)
