Job Summary

To support this mission Syngenta is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent in Omaha NE. This role will lead maintenance organizations including Supervisors Planners Technicians I/E Specialists and Electricians.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop high-performing maintenance teams including Supervisors Planners Technicians I/E Specialists and Electricians through mentoring skill development performance management and career advancement.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning innovation and cross-functional collaboration across all maintenance operations.
- Manage daily maintenance activities work order execution planning scheduling and parts management to optimize maintenance best practices and minimize production disruptions.
- Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs equipment reliability and availability through preventive/corrective maintenance programs and root cause analysis for critical equipment.
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture by ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies leading by example and driving a safety-first mindset across all teams.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to support organizational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative maintenance solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as primary liaison between maintenance and other departments building strong relationships with vendors contractors and leadership while communicating strategies performance and cross-functional project initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- 3 years supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management systems.
- Experience with CMMS and reliability programs.
