Sr. SW Test Engineer (4 6 years of experience in ORMB Testing)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle Revenue Management and Billing(ORMB) implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of ORMB QA methodologies and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for Oracle Revenue Management and Billing applications.

• Perform thorough testing of software applications including functional regression integration and performance testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to ensure test coverage and resolve issues.

• Identify document and track software defects and ensure timely resolution.

• Automate test processes and scripts using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.

• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improvements in software quality and processes.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation quality.

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and Oracle applications.

• Triage and troubleshoot production issues

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 5 years of relevant work experience
• 3 - 6 years of experience in software quality assurance with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium QTP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL programming.
Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools.
Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) is a plus.
