Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Audiologist to perform comprehensive hearing evaluations on a part-time basis with up to 3 days per week in the Watertown area and up to 2 days per week in the Syracuse area. This role offers the flexibility to work out of your own office.
The ideal candidate will conduct audiological assessments accurately interpret results and prepare detailed medical reports used to support Social Security Disability and Compensation & Pension evaluations. Audiologists with IMA have the opportunity to perform a variety of audiology tests depending on the line of business and exam type requested.
Compensation:
$20-$80 per evaluation depending on exam type and duration (15- 60 minutes).
Responsibilities:- Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments including audiometry and tympanometry.
- Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive medical reports with accurate descriptions of the applicants condition(s).
- Data Submission: Submit reports efficiently through our streamlined and user-friendly reporting platform.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent
Valid state audiology license and certification
Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation
Experience in a medical office or private practice preferred
