Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Director/House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Group Home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OPWDD healthcare management. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee four (4) residential units ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide direct nursing care and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities including medication administration and health monitoring.
- Staff scheduling for 24 hour home
- Coordination of medical services
- Assess patients health status and develop individualized plans of nursing services.
- Monitor and document patients condition and response to medications and treatments.
- Educate staff individuals and their families about health maintenance and prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years experience working with NYS OPWDD rules and regulations required
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required
- Valid NYS Drivers License.
- Able to pass an extensive background check
- Ability to sit stand and lift 50 lbs.
