As our Senior Business Development Manager you will bring SimaPro solutions to the French market and help leading companies turn sustainability ambition into action.
Get to know your team
You will join a team of 3 Business Development Managers and an inside sales representative who collaborate closely with consultants product managers and partners. Together we work to identify new opportunities support clients in their sustainability journey and scale game-changing software solutions. You will be responsible for new ARR from both inbound and outbound. This role reports to the Sales & Business Development Team Lead.
Your role as our Senior Business Development Manager
This full-time (40 hours) role combines hunting consultative selling and closing. Your focus will be on customers in France across industries such as medical/pharma consumer goods tech-engineering foods & beverages and chemicals. This is partially an outbound sales role focused on engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence.
This full-time permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Western Europe.
Hunt and close strategic new business in France.
Engage with prospects to understand their needs co-develop tailored solutions and showcase how SimaPro products create business value.
Drive inbound sales of SimaPro; follow up on leads demo the software and close new licenses.
Educate prospects and customers on LCA Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and the role of reliable sustainability metrics in compliance (CSRD CBAM ESPR) and innovation.
Contribute to our go-to-market and pricing strategies keeping an eye on market trends competitor activities and evolving regulations.
Represent PRé Sustainability at industry events and conferences across Europe.

Fluency in French and English.
Bachelors or Masters degree.
35 years in B2B Sales and/ or Business Development ideally in SaaS or sustainability consulting with a successful track record of growth.
Proactive hunter mentality in sales.
Excellent presentation writing and communication skills.
Ability to distil customer needs from unstructured conversations.
Fast learning skills and a desire to improve constantly using what works.
Affinity with sustainability. Knowledge of LCA EPD or environmental reporting is a big plus.
