SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule: 12 hour rotating swing shift (4 days 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. 4 days off 4 nights 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. 4 nights off) including overtime as needed.

Job Summary: Responsible for inspecting products according to specification documenting results of analysis and notifying supervisor and management of out-of-specification results. Will also collect inspect and grade samples according to physical appearance (defects) and perform moisture checks operate other lab equipment- oil analyzer milling/whiteness reader conduct milling yields and running lab shelling and milling equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to work and communicate in a timely manner with mill personnel.
Must be able to work with a team but also work independently and be self-disciplined. (At nights this may be the only on-site QC person reliability is a must.
Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply divide)
Must be able to read speak write and understand the English language fluently.
Must be able to climb up to 20 feet.
Must be able to Lift up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
Other duties assigned by supervisor.
