Job Summary

Location:Conroe Texas
Pay:Up to $140 per day depending on the district education level and/or teaching certification.

Job Brief:
As a substitute teacher you will support classrooms on a day-to-day basis when the regular teacher is unavailable. Youll provide continuity for students follow lesson plans and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Your flexibility and professionalism ensure that students continue to receive quality instruction even in the teachers absence.

Responsibilities:

Cover classrooms when the regular teacher is unavailable
Follow and implement provided lesson plans
Manage the classroom environment and maintain student engagement from bell to bell
Provide support to other classrooms or staff as needed

Skills Required / Qualifications:

Must be at least22 years old
Associate degree or at least 60 completed college credits
Bachelors degree or a teaching certification(preferred but not required)
Previous experience as a substitute teacher(preferred but not required)
Must successfully complete acriminal background check and fingerprinting
Must maintain aprofessional and positive demeanorat all times
Must bewilling and able to work with studentsin a classroom setting
