Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging age-appropriate English language instruction aligned with the national curriculum for Grade 5.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote reading comprehension writing skills grammar vocabulary and oral communication.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced tools to increase student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes assignments projects and formal evaluations; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive inclusive and respectful classroom culture that encourages participation collaboration and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers school administrators and parents to support student development and address individual learning needs.
- Participate in professional development workshops staff meetings and curriculum review sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress attendance and classroom activities.
- Support extracurricular activities such as debates storytelling sessions and English language clubs to enhance language fluency and confidence.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Education () in English or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or eligibility to teach at the primary level.
- 24 years of proven teaching experience in a classroom setting preferably with Grade 5 students.
- Strong command of spoken and written English including proper grammar vocabulary and pronunciation.
- Demonstrated ability to design interactive and student-centered lessons that promote active learning.
- Proven skills in classroom management and creating a supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be a female candidate as per the schools policy and gender-specific teaching requirement.
- Willingness to work in Barma Town Islamabad and adhere to school schedules and policies.
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools and educational software (e.g. Google Classroom MS Office learning management systems).
