As a Lead Network Architect Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) you will:
- Lead the design and architecture of Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions aligned to business and enterprise network requirements.
- Develop and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) Low-Level Designs (LLDs) Bills of Materials (BOMs) and deployment guides.
- Execute end-to-end SD-WAN implementations including both greenfield and brownfield network deployments.
- Configure validate and optimize vManage vSmart vBond and SD-WAN edge devices.
- Lead WAN transformation programs ensuring seamless migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN architectures.
- Provide L3 support during and post-deployment troubleshooting complex SD-WAN and network integration issues.
- Collaborate closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) operations teams and customer stakeholders including Technology Landscape Owners (TLOs) and Project Managers.
- Drive continuous improvement automation opportunities and adoption of Cisco SD-WAN best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10 years of overall experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) design deployment and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with SD-WAN policies templates and centralized control components.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale multi-site SD-WAN rollouts.
- Solid background in producing network design documentation (BOM HLD LLD deployment and operational guides).
- Working knowledge of LAN WLAN Firewalls and Infoblox (IPAM / DNS / DHCP).
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments including collaboration with ARTs.
You Should Possess the Ability to:
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable SD-WAN architectures.
- Lead complex network transformation initiatives from design through implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced SD-WAN routing and integration issues.
- Mentor engineers and conduct effective knowledge transfer to operations teams.
- Continuously evaluate emerging Cisco SD-WAN features and recommend optimizations.
