A Leading Garments Manufacturing company is looking for Senior leadership role responsible for driving yarn sales to internal and external garment/fabric units while also leading strategic sourcing vendor development and cost optimization for all yarn requirements of the garments business.
Key responsibilities
Lead yarn marketing: define product mix (counts blends fibres) pricing strategies and sales plans for garment manufacturers knitting units and fabric mills.
Develop key customer relationships and drive B2B sales to internal garment units and external buyers ensuring volume and margin growth.
Own yarn sourcing strategy: identify evaluate and onboard spinners/suppliers; negotiate prices payment terms and contracts.
Plan and ensure timely availability of yarn as per garment production schedules coordinating with planning purchase and production teams.
Monitor market trends fiber/yarn price movements and competitor offerings to inform both marketing and sourcing decisions.
Implement supplier performance metrics (OTIF quality cost responsiveness) and drive continuous improvement and risk diversification.
Lead and mentor a team handling sales/marketing and sourcing/purchase; review KPIs and align them to business goals.

Required skill sets
10 years experience in yarn marketing yarn sourcing or textile marketing with strong exposure to garments/knitwear value chains.
Deep technical knowledge of yarn: fiber types (cotton blends synthetics) counts twist quality parameters and behavior in knitting/weaving.
Proven B2B sales and keyaccount management skills with garment manufacturers mills and exporters.
Strong sourcing and negotiation skills including vendor development cost analysis and contract management.
Solid understanding of supplychain and production planning links between yarn and garment manufacturing.
Experience leading multilocation teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
Strong commercial acumen MIS/reporting skills and comfort with ERP/CRM systems.
Excellent communication presentation and relationshipbuilding abilities; willingness to travel frequently
