Laboratory Coordinator
Location: New York NY
Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 37.5 hrs/week 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50$55 per hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to perform routine diagnostic laboratory procedures support daily lab operations and ensure accuracy and quality in all testing activities.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic and routine diagnostic procedures to isolate and identify microbial pathogens.
Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers; perform manual testing as needed.
Maintain strong knowledge of laboratory techniques instrumentation and factors affecting test results.
Stay familiar with all lab testing procedures and protocols.
Assist with special projects evaluate new products/instruments and perform quality control tasks.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
No prior experience required; laboratory exposure preferred.
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician license preferred.
Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
