SUMMARY

Lead and support production employees in manufacturing high-quality dairy products by coordinating daily work assignments and maintaining an active presence on the production floor to ensure all production goals are met. Consistently enforce GMP safety and housekeeping standards to promote a clean compliant and efficient work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Actively enforce safety rules and company policies by modeling safe and compliant behaviors.
    • Plan and organize resources (employees materials time and equipment) to meet efficiency quality and safety targets; monitor and adjust plans throughout the shift as needed.
    • Communicate and coordinate effectively with all departments to support smooth operations.
    • Engage in waste-reduction efforts across all areas of production.
    • Lead assigned continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and performance.
    • Maintain high standards of sanitation throughout the production area.
    • Ensure completion and accuracy of all required process control and tracking documentation.
    • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
    • Provide coverage for various positions and shifts within the department as needed.
    • Promote employee retention and foster a workplace culture that is clean organized and aligned with the organizations mission vision guiding principles and values.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities in day-to-day operations.
    • Maintain knowledge of all production procedures and operational areas.
    • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and creativity in problem-solving and process management.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS

    • High School diploma General Education Degree (GED) or International Education Equivalent.

    • At least 1 year of related experience.

      • The work environment may require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
      • Exposed to a noise level of 90 decibels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high. Wet/slippery work conditions.
