Job Summary

JOB SUMMARYSizer School a North Central Charter Essential School is seeking a driven dynamic and experienced special education teacher to be a part of the high school instructional team. This educator is responsible for creating a classroom environment that supports all students. This candidate will bring a passion for supporting and implementing best instructional practices wrap around student support services and a commitment to further promote an already existing positive collaborative environment. Only those candidates with a deep passion for the Sizer School mission and ready to teach in and be a part of an exemplary innovative public middle/high school need RESPONSIBILITIESProvides specialized instruction for high school inclusion support within content-area and writes Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with the IEP a caseload of students with Individualized Education IEP meetings (annual reviews) for students on compliance with IDEA collaboratively with Grade Level Teams to plan for required assessments for initial and 3 year re-evaluations.
