Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Technologistfor an exciting job in Bradenton FL.

Responsibilities

Perform STAT and routine laboratory testing following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Apply theoretical and technical principles to produce accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Maintain required licensure and competencies in Blood Bank Chemistry and Hematology.
Conduct specimen collection processing and referral testing as needed.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards quality assurance protocols and laboratory policies.
Support departmental goals related to service excellence compliance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking prioritization and decision-making in a high-acuity setting.
Collaborate effectively with clinical teams and work independently during solo coverage shifts.

Required Qualifications

Nationally recognized Medical Technologist certification (ASCP preferred).
Active Florida Medical Technologist license covering at least three major laboratory areas (all-area licensure preferred).
Associate degree in Medical Technology required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of hospital laboratory experience preferred.
Blood Bank experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage all testing areas during assigned shifts.
Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.
